Torsion Springs

Torsion springs work by twisting the arms in opposite directions around the centre axis. When its twisted is exerts torque in the opposite direction, proportional to the amount (angle) it is twisted.

Materials include Spring Steel and Stainless Steel

Free Deflection denotes the angle of the legs in the unloaded starting position. Load should be applied at about half the leg length.
