Collection: Balls - Rubber - Santoprene 87A

A high performance thermoplastic created by cross linking EPDM rubber with Polypropylene. As an elastomer plastic it is flexible, light weight, and has very good abrasion resistance. It also has good resistance to many acids, bases and
aqueous solutions. It holds up well in both extreme hot and cold environments which can make it preferred over rubber. Common uses include; grips, knobs, handles, gaskets, and ball check valves.
Specific Gravity .96 g/cc. Hardness, Shore 87A Tensile Strength 2550 psi. Melting Point 400 F Rohs Compliant and FDA compliant. This grade is slightly softer than the 40D grade. Colour Beige.
